So, say I step on a skunk, and I say, “Oh, it stinks because I stepped on it” that would not be true. As I said, it was the skunk’s properties revealed not mine.
When we have trials and our character stinks, don’t blame the trial. It’s just showing your properties. Whether your properties are good or bad is your choice.

ReplyDeleteHi Joshua - I have finally had a chance to spend time reading your blogs. You do such a great job writing and what experiences you are having! I was excited to hear that you are translating. All of those language skills are being put to such good use. I agree with Stephen that you are, indeed, wise and mature beyond your years. Imagine the wisdom you will be able to continue to share after so many years of teaching! God has placed you all in such a special place to share His Word and Love and knowledge across the world.
ReplyDeleteOn your trips, I wonder if you sleep on the buses after getting up early so many mornings. I know the roads are not good so I am not sure if you do. It is nice to know you have other children to be with. Not many boys though?
